MY JOURNAL-2

Here is my question for the day 2nd July 2014

2. WRITE A LITTLE ABOUT 2 PEOPLE WHO YOU ADMIRE THE MOST AND WHY??

You can write about anyone who has really touched your life in a big way, or who has influenced you in a big way but in a short time.

  1. I am sharing my answer here and would love to hear it from all too (if you are comfortable)

Honestly speaking I am not influenced by one single or 1-2 individuals. It has been collective. I have been influenced to certain extent by my parents, friends, cousins, teachers, bosses...people we meet...I am not in a position to sieve out one person who changed my life or my way of thinking...to a certain extent both my grandmothers played big role forming my initial ideas though...

Perhaps when I visit this page next year - who knows I may have a person who might have influenced me then? :)

    1. Good ans Madhavi,
This makes us think that its true.. our admiration goes on changing or you can say increasing for different people and so life is a learning process , you admire and also learn.

  3. OMG, to name two persons is difficult - during your journey you meet so many persons - or read about them that you end up admiring a lot of people. Many a times you don't admire the person in totality but you admire a few qualities about him.
I admire one lady Mrs. Chawathe who lived in our society - have been watching her since childhood - highly educated - was a professor in Maths - teaching the Phd students at Kalina University - managed her house, job and family very well. Bought up her both children perfectly well - The climax was when her son married his boyfriend she faced the situation very optimistically. (it must have been actually so shocking to any mom!)
There are so many more - strong women - but why do I have to look outside - I admire all I mean absolutely all of you.

  4. Just a point worth mentioning in the earlier note - Mrs. Chawathes son was very brilliant - rather extra ordinarily brilliant in academics as well as circular activities. And was so humble - younger to me may be by 8-9 yrs. (Just wondering - did the US spoil him?)
