MY JOURNAL--1

1  As per my earlier post, I recommended that we write a Journal which helps us know more about ourselves. And it’s not only for knowing ourselves but also knowing about life and the people around you.

Madhavi has been busy and so I will post the first question here and henceforth you will find a question from Madhavi on all odd dates and one from me on all even dates.

Hope you all like the questions and answer them in your Journals.
Take a book and keep one page for one question, write the answer and the month and year against it.. You can always decorate the pages with things you like or stickers to make it attractive. Remember a decorated page is great to look at than a page with only answers. This will remain with you for a long time and so it’s nice to make it pretty.

1.  WHAT ARE YOUR STRENGTHS? AND WHY DO YOU FEEL THAT THEY ARE SO.

  1. Reshma are we not supposed to write it on the blog? It's ok to write it in the journal but then how do we share it?

    1. This journal is made to be able to look at our inner self and as Madhavi said you are free to share your thoughts or keep it to yourself..

  2. Hi Bhabhi....we can either choose to answer it here or choose to write in journal or e-journal. Reshma bhabhi has suggested that we Label it so we will also be able to refer to Label and wont have to scroll down through all the postings to search the question.
I have started writing it in diary - date wise. The idea is, next year when you open the page you have written today...you will see whether your opinion has changed over the time or it continues? That will be your chance to see the new-you or the same-you....
I am open to post the answers here as well....
Can we hear it from all please??

  3. I believe my top two strengths are 1) PATIENCE and 2) ADAPTABILITY

I do not know how others feel about me, but I feel I have good amount of patience that has helped me a lot in all spheres of life. I can patiently wait through crunch times, debates, people issues or simply when things don't happen my way....

Adaptability has helped me TO BE HAPPY GENUINELY....i am happy with the mantra - 1) Live and Let Live and 2) What you cannot change - either accept or ignore. I have realized life is so much better with this approach. This is certainly my strength :)

  4. I believe my top two strengths are 1) I can adjust or adapt to any person or situation whether I want it or not.
    2) I can make friends very easily , I can never feel alone if I have someone around me.

  5. My strength is Madhavi......seriously. Without her I am completely lost. What I am today is all because of her. She is a biggest influence in my life. All my problems are resolved the moment i consult her. She has taught me all that I lacked. She has made me a better mom, better wife and a better human being......I guess.

  6. OMG....I am super excited to read that Sweta :) I am glad we came together 18 years back, not as sister-in-laws but as friends and that I think was our building base. From a half naughty-half innocent Sweta of 1996 to transformed charming women in 2014, we have learned (and continue to learn) from each other :)

  7. After the question was put forward I have been really wondering - what is my strength? First I couldn't find any - I am not patient - neither I am strong when I have to face crisis - but then I thought there has to be something that has kept me going all these years - and I realised - that I can forget and forgive easily - I dont usually carry grudges - Chalta hai mhanta and I do ahead. The other thing I can do is analyse the situation from the others point of view and so can find solutions easily.
But unlike Reshma - I cannot make friends easily - maybe I can strike a conversation with persons of all types - but friends no = not that easily - But once I make a friend then thats for life - no casual friends for me.
